The Waterford Inne - Is a 19th Century farmhouse situated on a country lane midst 25 acres of fields and woods in Waterford Maine. Outside--rolling terrain, a farm pond, an old red barn. Inside--hand-hewn beams, wide pine floors, private rooms and gourmet meals. Step outside to explore the pleasures of country simplicity, to listen to the quiet or to songbirds, to smell the freshness of a summer morning or perhaps the winter fragrance of a woodburning fire. Wander through the gardens which provide a colorful array of flowers and bounty of fresh fare for dinner.

An air of quiet simple elegance pervades the common rooms rich with antiques and art, barnboard and brass, pewter and primitives. A bit of Americana, a collection of artifacts gathered round the world, an intimate library with an eclectic collection of books to appeal to all tastes.

The Inne has richly appointed rooms that are welcoming while reflecting a cozy country warmth. Some rooms have a deck with sweeping views of the Maine countryside. Other rooms have a fireplace to warm you, throwing a mellow light to create a soothing evening atmosphere.

Dinner is a leisurely affair consisting of four courses designed to complement one another elegantly presented on a fine and seemingly endless collection of china. We are well known--and favorably reviewed--for our dinners. Allow us to pamper your palate with country chic cuisine. We do not have a standard menu, but with advance reservations prepare one fine-- even outstanding--meal for your pleasure.
