The Inn features spectacular views of the White Mountains and is located in the heart of the Lake District of Maine within minutes of gorgeous hiking trails and country roads which offer wonderful places for the avid biker. Antique, arts and craft shops can be found at every turn and for those wishing to spend time shopping North Conway (outlets) is only a 25-minute drive and Freeport, Maine, the home of L.L. Bean is a wonderful day-trip.

Kezar Lake, deemed one of the most beautiful glacier lakes in the world by National Geographic, is located across the street and offers boating, fishing and swimming in its crystal-clear waters. Lake Kezar Country Club, minutes away, boasts beautiful fairways lined with tall pines for the golfing enthusiast. The Inn is also located in the center of ski country within minutes of major ski areas (including Sunday River and Shawnee Peak). If cross-country skiing, snowshoeing (private park open to public) or snowmobiling is your sport you can leave from the property on local trails and connect with Maine’s State trails. Local snowmobile rental is also available.

In the summer enjoy your dinner on the wrap-around front porch watching the sunset over the White Mountains and if you listen closely you will hear the cry of the loons from the lake. In the winter enjoy gourmet delights along with a crackling fire.
